Specs and roles
Forever keeps the classic Warrior trio. Specs are flexible while leveling; the labels below match how most groups talk about endgame roles.
- Arms: Melee DPS. Two-hander pressure, Execute windows, and deep Rage dumps when a target is low.
- Fury: Melee DPS. Dual-wield or two-hand flavors depending on your build, high Rage throughput, and strong open-world clear.
- Protection: Tank. Shield work, threat tools, and the plate front line for dungeons and raids.
Rage rises when you hit and when you get hit, so stance and opener habits matter more than a mana bar. Warriors do not cast from a pool; they manage swings, cooldowns, and stance dancing.
Playable races
Warrior is available to every Forever race. Faction and start zone follow the race, not the class.
- Human (Alliance) start in Elwynn Forest
- Dwarf (Alliance) start in Dun Morogh
- Night Elf (Alliance) start in Teldrassil
- Gnome (Alliance) start in Dun Morogh
- Skyborne (Alliance High Order or Horde Windshaper) start in Zephras Isle
- Orc (Horde) start in Durotar
- Undead (Horde) start in Tirisfal Glades
- Tauren (Horde) start in Mulgore
- Troll (Horde) start in Durotar
Race picks that matter
Warrior is the widest race pool in Forever, so the choice is about racials and start comfort, not access. Weapon specializations still matter when you park a two-hander or a one-hand setup: Human favors swords, Dwarf favors maces, and Orc favors axes. Blood Fury, Berserking, Stoneform, and War Stomp are the actives worth planning cooldowns around on Orc, Troll, Dwarf, and Tauren. Skyborne Warriors keep Walk on Air and the shared island toolkit on either faction. Undead bring Will of the Forsaken style control breaks that feel strong in open-world and PvP. Gnome and Night Elf lean on Escape Artist or Shadowmeld when you want utility over raw weapon math. Exact numbers and ImageText tooltips live on the Forever racial traits page and on each race guide. There is no Forever-only "new Warrior race" lock; the novelty is Skyborne on both factions plus the usual Classic-era racial kit.
