Lore
Dwarves of Khaz Modan are forged for the long fight: stone halls, rifle lines, and a stubborn loyalty to the Alliance. In Forever's era they still hold Ironforge as the heart of the mountain kingdoms, sharing the snow roads of Dun Morogh with Gnomeregan's survivors while Magni keeps the anvil ringing.
Faction, capital, and leader
Dwarves fight for the Alliance. Ironforge is the capital. King Magni Bronzebeard is the face of Dwarf leadership at Forever's launch window.
If you want Alliance snow starts, Paladin or Shaman fantasy, and a Physical-damage defensive racial, Dwarf is the clear pick.
Starting in Dun Morogh
Dwarf characters begin in Dun Morogh, shared with Gnomes. Expect Coldridge Valley into Kharanos, troggs, trolls, and a long white road toward Ironforge.
Use the Dun Morogh page for zone feel and early hubs. This page stays focused on being Dwarf.
Racials
Forever gives every race two actives and two passives. Dwarf kit:
Stoneform
Find Treasure
Mace Specialization
Big Game Hunter

Classes
Dwarves can be:
That covers tank, healer, melee, and ranged. Shaman is Forever's new Dwarf combo versus Classic vanilla.
Class pages own specs, roles, and which other races can play them. This page only answers: can a Dwarf be that class?
Who should roll Dwarf
Pick Dwarf if you want:
- Alliance identity with Ironforge as home
- Stoneform for bleed / poison / disease fights and Physical damage reduction
- Mace crit identity for melee or caster sticks
- Access to both Paladin and the new Shaman option
Pick something else if you want stun breaks (Human), stealth tools (Night Elf), or caster burst buttons (Gnome Eureka!).
