Who starts here

Orcs and Trolls both begin in Durotar. Orcs get the Valley of Trials tutorial and the Razor Hill road under Orgrimmar. Trolls share the same desert coast with Sen'jin as the early village beat. Undead start in Tirisfal Glades, Tauren in Mulgore, and Skyborne on Zephras Isle.

Zone feel and early path

Durotar is Classic Kalimdor scrub: scorched canyons, quilboar camps, and coastal troll villages before the Orgrimmar gates. Keep the early loop high level and established. Valley of Trials is the Orc tutorial pocket. Sen'jin Village anchors the Darkspear coastal feel. Razor Hill is the shared social hub for trainers, inns, and the road into the capital. Do not invent Forever-only quest names; stick to Valley of Trials, Sen'jin, Razor Hill, and the Orgrimmar approach. Once Orgrimmar unlocks bank, auction, and faction services, the Barrens become the natural next outdoor map for both races. That dusty handoff is the classic Horde leveling spine out of Durotar without needing new town inventions.
