Starting zones
Elwynn Forest
Elwynn is green farmland and logging country under Stormwind banners: Northshire Abbey into Goldshire, then the capital road past farms, kobolds, gnolls, and Defias-adjacent bandits. The tone stays pastoral until you leave for dustier or darker Eastern Kingdoms follow-ons. Who starts here: Human only. Zone guide: Elwynn Forest.
Dun Morogh
Dun Morogh is snow mountains and dwarven holds: Coldridge Valley and Anvilmar into Kharanos, with Ironforge as the mountain capital handoff. Gnomes share the frost and steam fantasy beside Dwarf plate and priest lines. Who starts here: Dwarf and Gnome. Zone guide: Dun Morogh.
Teldrassil
Teldrassil is the World Tree canopy: Shadowglen into Dolanaar, then Darnassus among the boughs. Night Elf nature, stealth, and Druid fantasy define the island before you sail toward Darkshore and the wider Kalimdor Alliance lane. Who starts here: Night Elf only. Zone guide: Teldrassil.
Durotar
Durotar is red canyons and harsh sun: Valley of Trials into Sen'jin Village and Razor Hill, then Orgrimmar. Orc and Darkspear Troll starts share the dust, scorpid, and quilboar beats before the Horde capital unlocks wider Kalimdor travel. Who starts here: Orc and Troll. Zone guide: Durotar.
Tirisfal Glades
Tirisfal is plague-haunted north Lordaeron: Deathknell into Brill, then Undercity beneath the ruins. Undead fantasy leans fog, Scarlet pressure, and Forsaken sustain before you push toward Silverpine and the Hillsbrad front. Who starts here: Undead only. Zone guide: Tirisfal Glades.
Mulgore
Mulgore is open plains under big sky: Red Cloud Mesa into Bloodhoof Village, then the lift to Thunder Bluff. Tauren nature and shaman fantasy play across rolling grass before The Barrens and Stonetalon pull you into mid Kalimdor. Who starts here: Tauren only. Zone guide: Mulgore.
Zephras Isle
Zephras Isle is Forever's new Skyborne island: wind, stone, and ley glow without inventing town names here. Both Alliance High Order and Horde Windshaper clear the island start before joining classic continent pipelines for their chosen faction. Who starts here: Skyborne on both factions. Eastern Kingdoms (more later)
Alliance and Horde outdoor pages beyond the starts will publish later under this same index. Expect classic follow-ons such as Westfall, Redridge Mountains, Duskwood, Loch Modan, Wetlands, Silverpine Forest, Hillsbrad Foothills, Arathi Highlands, Stranglethorn Vale, Badlands, Swamp of Sorrows, and Burning Steppes. Those names are placeholders for coming pages; do not treat them as live Forever zone links yet.
Kalimdor (more later)
Kalimdor follow-ons will land the same way. Classic names coming later include The Barrens, Ashenvale, Stonetalon Mountains, Thousand Needles, Dustwallow Marsh, Darkshore, Desolace, Feralas, Tanaris, Un'Goro Crater, and Azshara. Again, plain-text for now until dedicated Forever zone articles exist.
