Lore
Skyborne are the new playable people of Zephras Isle. Forever does not invent a Skyborne king. After you choose Alliance High Order or Horde Windshaper, your faction leaders speak for you and your early quests stay on the island before you join the wider Kalimdor or Eastern Kingdoms lanes. Shared racials favor glide mobility, a small haste bump, and extra pressure on Elementals. High Order leans into ley-line tapping with Read Ley Line. Windshaper leans into elemental convergences with Skysight. Class locks reinforce the split: Alliance adds Mage, Horde adds Shaman, and both keep Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, and Druid.
Faction, capital, and leader
Skyborne are Alliance or Horde at creation. High Order is the Alliance identity. Windshaper is the Horde identity. Treat Zephras Isle hubs as your early city services, and do not invent a Skyborne monarch. After the choice, follow the faction leaders already named for Alliance or Horde in Forever.
Starting in Zephras Isle
You begin on Zephras Isle. Clear the island starter hubs on that zone page, learn Walk on Air early, then leave for your faction's continent pipeline once the 1-12 island work is done.

Who should roll Skyborne
Roll Skyborne if you want Forever's new island start, Walk on Air mobility, and a real faction choice at creation. Pick High Order when you want Alliance Mage plus Read Ley Line. Pick Windshaper when you want Horde Shaman plus Skysight. Shared Druid, Hunter, Rogue, and Warrior keep both sides flexible.
