How to unlock Reshii Wraps

Your new cloak, the only one that drops in this patch, can be unlocked from the release of the new patch. With just one to three hours of questing in the new zone, you will unlock and upgrade your Artifact cloak.

During patch day, the first three chapters will be available before Manaforge Omega and Mythic Plus Season 3 launch. During these first three chapters, Locus-Walker will help you unlock your Reshii Wraps at iLevel 694, which comes with the new Phase Diving mode. Phase Diving will be required to see most treasures and rares in the new K'aresh zone. The last two chapters of the new 11.2 Ghosts of K'aresh campaign will be available a week later.

Upgrades minutes after unlocking

After unlocking your Reshii Wraps, Locus-Walker will also allow you to choose a fiber. The fiber works like a socket for Reshii Wraps and grants you a secondary stat. Your choices are Crit, Haste, Mastery, or Versatility, which can also be swapped for just 100g. Better sockets that grant more stats can be crafted with Tailoring, or placed via Crafting Orders if you chose other professions.

And just one or two quests later, you will unlock three Ethereal Strands, which is a new currency used to upgrade your cloak. That means in the first few hours alone, you'll be able to upgrade your cloak to iLevel 701.

Power Proc, based on Role

One thing that Reshii Wraps includes is a power proc that triggers once or twice per minute, called Ethereal Reaping. This buff is different depending on your role:

• Damage dealers deal bonus Arcane damage split between nearby enemies. Targets below 35% health take 20% more damage from this effect.
• Healers trigger an extra heal on a nearby injured ally. Overhealing becomes a shield, preventing damage for 20 seconds.
• Tanks gain 20% damage reduction (up to a cap), plus a “death proc” on a 6-minute cooldown that activates the shield at 500% increased effectiveness when dropping below 40% health.

More Timegated Upgrades

More Ethereal Strands can be unlocked weekly from all types of content. Whether you prefer world content like the new Warrants, accompany Brann in Delves, push your Mythic+ score, or clear Manaforge Omega bosses, Ethereal Strands can be earned from all of these activities.

Your cloak starts at a high iLevel of 694 and can be upgraded in week one to 701. Over the following weeks, you'll unlock four additional upgrade tiers: 707, 714, 720, and finally 730 iLevel.

Reshii Wraps, required for Manaforge Omega

For those planning to defeat Dimensius and his followers in Manaforge Omega, Reshii Wraps is essential. Right from the first boss, there's a mechanic that can only be dodged with the cloak equipped. The cloak grants a unique ability called Phase Blink.

Although not much is known yet about the Dimensius encounter, many speculate that this final boss of The War Within, which sets up the next Midnight expansion, will require the cloak as well. It's likely that a massive AoE will need to be avoided using Phase Blink, just like the Heart of Azeroth was required for N'Zoth's final fight in Battle for Azeroth.
