Delta Force Starfall: Tank Operator Sineva Arrives

January 20th, 2025 the new Delta Force Season kick off under the name "Starfall", bringing a major defensive powerhouse to the operator roster after Genesis laid the groundwork with its amazing and popular December open beta launch. The new operator: Sineva, leads the charge with a full ballistic shield and enough armor to make tanks jealous.
Sineva: Walking Cover
The new Engineer operator Sineva takes "tanking damage" quite literally. His EOD Set ability equips a heavy suit with full-body ballistic shield that reduces damage from all sources. The shield deflects grenades and can knock down enemies who get too close, which makes for an interesting run (knock over) and gun gameplay. His kit includes a Grapple Gun for repositioning either himself or pulling enemies close, as well as a Razor Wire that damages and slows enemies for area denial. The Rear Guard trait boosts his defensive capabilities even further. Sineva can be unlocked at level 15 of the battle pass, or if you are willing to buy the premium pass, you can unlock him instantly.
Triple Weapon Drop
A new SMG: QCQ171: Unlocked through the Arms Race event which is available from January 18th to January 31st. By earning 100 points in Warfare or Operations to unlock this close-quarters shredder of a weapon. Following the QCQ171, is a new LMG: QJB201: Hidden in the underground section of Zero Dam, this weapon can be unlocked in Operations mode only. You will need to explore, as this is not just an event reward, and you might have a lot of competition if others in your match also want the weapon. Last, a new Marksman Rifle: SR-9: This is meant to fill the gap between Assault Rifles and Sniper Rifles, this mid to long range weapons are perfect for maps that require you to be able to shoot accurately at long range, while keeping speed at short range.
The Tank Meta Begins
Sineva changes the game for solo players who like to jump right in, but even more so for teams that coordinate. His shield provides mobile cover for squads pushing objectives, while the defensive abilities lock down flanking routes. Pair him with aggressive operators for a classic tank-and-spank strategy. The weapon variety caters to all playstyles - SMG rushers, LMG suppression fans, and precision marksmen all get new toys. The hidden LMG encourages exploration beyond just rushing to find and kill other players. Season "Starfall" builds on Delta Force's foundation without overcomplicating things. Sometimes you just need a guy with a really big shield.
