Delta Force Eclipse Vigil: Nox Brings Stealth to the new Season

Delta Force wrapped up its initial roadmap with the new Season: "Eclipse Vigil" on April 21, 2025. The update shifts the game's focus toward stealth and disruption with the new Nox operator and Night Mode missions.

Nox: The Silent Disruptor

Hélie de Montbel, codenamed Nox, joins as an Assault operator built for flanking and chaos. His Deep Trauma passive makes enemies heal slower and take longer to revive - perfect for hit-and-run tactics.

His Silent Assault ability is where things get interesting. Activate it to muffle your footsteps, boost movement speed, and scramble enemy recon. In Operations, tracking devices only ping your starting location. In Warfare, you're completely invisible to detection.

The Whirlwind Disc gadget locks onto enemies (faster from behind) and explodes for damage and slowing effects. Pair it with a Tactical Flashbang for maximum disruption. Best part? Nox unlocks free at Tier 1 of the season pass. No grinding required.

K437 Assault Rifle

The K437 brings .300 BLK rounds to Delta Force with high damage and fire rate. It's essentially an HK437 variant that fits perfectly with Nox's mobile playstyle. The compact handling makes it ideal for moving between cover without getting caught out.

Night Mode Changes Everything

Night Mode variants of existing missions force players to rethink their approach. Visibility drops, sound becomes crucial, and those laser sights suddenly matter. It's not just a lighting change - it fundamentally alters how missions play out.

Looking Ahead

"Eclipse Vigil" sets up Delta Force's next chapter nicely. The stealth focus provides a welcome change from the usual run-and-gun gameplay, and Nox offers genuinely useful abilities for coordinated teams. Victory Unite mode got delayed to May 30, but the core season content delivers.

"Eclipse Vigil" delivers on its promise of stealth gameplay, a complete 180 from Starfall's tank-heavy approach with Sineva's ballistic shield.
